The Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology was founded in 1998 within the faculties of our major universities. The aim of the department is to train staff to provide instructional technology support to the computer teacher and other areas taught in the primary and secondary education curriculum.

Teachers who graduated from CEIT; The aim of this course is to provide the students and teachers with the technical problems they face in their classes. As a department, our primary target is to train individuals with digital literacy, which are compatible with the age of the 21st century. In this context, current, developing, practical information is presented to the students in the light of information and information technologies, knowledge and skills related to vocational education and field competence are gained in the perspective of advanced technologies.

The purpose of the program given at the undergraduate level; To gain basic knowledge and skills to the computer teacher candidates who will work in primary education (K-12). Candidates benefit from computer labs to develop their theoretical knowledge. Those who have completed the undergraduate program are entitled to receive a bachelor's degree and a teaching certificate in the Department of Computer and Instructional Technology. Graduates can work as teachers in primary and secondary education.

A CEIT graduate;

In training firms or institutions developing educational software, as training specialist, content development specialist or instructional technician; As distance education manager, project manager, distance education specialist, content development specialist or subject matter specialist in distance education institutions or specialized firms;

In IT departments as network specialist, database expert or software development specialist;

As a graphic and animation designer;

In education departments of public and private institutions as educational expert or instructional technologist;

As a teacher in various fields of computer science, in public education centers or in non-formal education activities;

As a teaching technician or research and development specialist in private primary and secondary schools;

It is able to work as academicians of the future through the ÖYP programs which are already applied in universities.
